Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward is still hospitalized in London, recuperating from a mild heart attack he suffered nine days ago, less than 24 hours after the band had started rehearsals for a scheduled European tour and a series of European Ozzfest dates.

Ward will be featured, however, on a Sabbath live album recorded last December in the band's hometown of Birmingham, England, which is due out in the fall. The record will include two new Sabbath studio tracks, "Psycho Man" and "Selling My Soul.

The Sabbath drummer is due to be released from the hospital by this weekend, but as we previously reported (see [article id="1426029"]"Black Sabbath Drummer Enters Hospital..."[/article]), he's been replaced on the European tour by Vinnie Appice, who played with Sabbath in the '80s and '90s during the Ronnie James Dio and Rob Halford eras.

Sabbath isn't on the bill for the U.S. edition of Ozzfest, which starts its pillage of the summer concert market on

July 3 in Holmdel, New Jersey, but the group will be mounting a U.S. tour of its own in November, and management says Ward should rejoin the band by then.
