Carly Fiorina Puts Trump In His Place For His Sexist Comments

Trump had some words as well.

On Wednesday, CNN hosted the second GOP debate of the 2016 presidential election season. The debate, held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, featured 11 Republican hopefuls, including current frontrunner Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Jeb Bush. The night also marked Carly Fiorina's first appearance in the primetime debates, and she held nothing back.

Fiorina was asked to respond to Donald Trump's quote about her in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. ICYMI, here's what went down, per the outlet:

"Look at that face!" he cries. "Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!" The laughter grows halting and faint behind him. "I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

"You know, it's interesting to me, Mr. Trump said that he heard Mr. Bush very clearly, and what Mr. Bush said," Fiorina said. "I think women all over this country heard what Mr. Trump said."

Trump had just one more thing to say on the matter. "I think she's got a beautiful face and I think that she's a beautiful woman."

One thing's for sure, Carly's making it clear that she's in this to win it.
