Jennifer Lopez Eyes New Film Roles

Jennifer Lopez is currently riding high with her number one song, "If You Had My Love," the initial offering from her just-released debut album, "On the 6," but the actress-turned singer is already lining up new projects for her return to the silver screen.

Lopez is bandying around several offers right now, and recently told the Associated Press during a trip to Puerto Rico that she planned to start shooting a new film, entitled "The Cell," in July and would follow that up with another movie, "The Wedding Planner," at some point in 2000.

Lopez's name had also been attached to the upcoming Eddie Murphy vehicle, "Pluto Nash," also due to start filming this summer with "Mighty Joe Young" director Ron Underwood at the helm, although it's not known whether her new commitment to do "The Cell" will enable her to take part in both films.

In addition to a video for "If You Had My Love," Lopez has also completed a clip for "No Te Ames," her duet with Latin singer Marc Anthony.
