A Saturday morning Fox Kids cartoon series titled "Oggy and the Cockroaches" pays

homage to defunct New York punk legends the Ramones. Three characters on

the show -- Joey, Marky and Dee Dee -- are named after the group's singer, drummer

and bassist, respectively. Although he hasn't seen the show, ex-singer Joey

Ramone said he thought the tip of the hat to the leather-jacketed quartet (oddly,

guitarist Johnny Ramone is left out) was "really cool."
