Thrash-rap band Limp Bizkit's Significant Other will debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, ousting the Backstreet Boys' Millennium after a five-week run, according to a report in the Monday (June 28) issue of Daily Variety. The report cites industry sources as saying the Limp Bizkit album sold more than 720,000 copies in the week ending Sunday. The last rock album to top the chart was Alanis Morissette's Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, which sold nearly 470,000 copies the week it was released in November and remained at #1 after selling another 268,000 copies the following week. Significant Other, which includes the single "Nookie," follows up Three Dollar Bill Y'all$ (1997), which rose no higher than #22 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, but which remains at #67 two years after its release.
