Lady Gaga Gears Up For Pussycat Dolls Tour

The electronic-pop artist launches her own U.S. tour in March.

Before the [artist id="1841713"]Pussycat Dolls[/artist] head out on the road with [artist id="501686"]Britney Spears[/artist] this March, they'll be joined for the European leg of their Doll Domination by one of our [article id="1602465"]Pop Rookies of 2009[/article], [artist id="3061469"]Lady Gaga[/artist]. But that, it turns out, is just the opening act for Gaga's own solo run through the U.S., dubbed the Fame Ball, the dates of which were announced Monday on her site.

"I'm going to be on tour for the next 10, 20 years," Gaga told MTV News back in December. "I'll be touring all over Europe with the Pussycat Dolls. We are going to be touring all over Europe."

The PCD tour starts on January 18 in Scotland, before making stops in England, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium and Monaco. After the Pussycat Dolls finish up with Spears, they'll once again hit the road with Gaga in May throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Gaga's Fame Ball Tour, featuring White Tie Affair and [article id="1602567"]Chester French[/article], will hit the U.S. in March and April. "I'm really excited to be on my own now, doing my own show," she told us.

As a [article id="1589013"]performance artist [/article], Lady Gaga was also excited to be able to include her wacky aesthetic in the new tour. "I consider what I do to be more of an Andy Warhol concept: pop performance art, multimedia, fashion, technology, video, film. And it's all coming together, and it's going to be traveling museum show."
