Here's What Kanye West Thinks Of Kendrick Lamar After 'To Pimp A Butterfly'

Kanye went all-caps with his K. Dot love.

By now, pretty much everyone has heard Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly - even Taylor Swift needed time alone to enjoy the project - so it made sense when Kanye West offered his opinion on the album, too.

So, what did Yeezy have to say? Nothing but kind words, actually. For starters, he called Kendrick “an inspiration.” But that wasn’t all. He went on to praise K. Dot’s vibrations, spirit and more. Check out his tweet below.

As you know, Kanye doesn’t tweet often, so this was certainly a special occasion for Yeezy. And it makes sense. After all, the ‘Ye and K. Dot have worked together recently. Kendrick was actually one of the 21 people behind Yeezy’s “All Day.”

The respect is mutual. In 2013, Kendrick Lamar told MTV News just how much he learned from Kanye on their Yeezus tour run.

“Watching him perform, seeing how much he puts into his stage and his presence on stage, it just reassures me that coming out the booth, you have to take just as much attention on that stage,” Kendrick said at the time.

That same year, Kendrick also gave love to Kanye's Yeezus project.

"It was hard for me to grasp it on the first take," Lamar told MTV News about the effort. "As I kept listening throughout the week, I understood what he was doing. That was him stepping out the box again and doing what he felt. As an artist, we all need to take heed and salute that."

Looks like Kanye's saluting you back, Kendrick.
