Crystal Reed Is Returning To 'Teen Wolf' (But It's Not What You Think)

Three words: It's about time.

DID YOU HEAR? Because MTV surely heard us!

Well, sort of. Our beloved Allison Argent may remain long gone, but Crystal Reed is coming back to guest star on the February 23rd episode of "Teen Wolf." Hey, we'll take it!

The woman behind the fallen "TW" heroine will play the role of an 18th-century Argent ancestor, Marie-Jeanne Valet, who was supposedly one of the first to defeat La Bête — the same Beast that has Beacon Hills on full alert.

"Basically, Jeff just said, 'France in the 1700s,' and I was in," Crystal told BuzzFeed News. "He knows that I have been dying to do a period piece, and I love getting my head around different accents and different cultures. He didn't even have much of a character worked out other than it was based on the Maid of Gévaudan. And I knew the legend, so before really knowing anything further, I said yes." And we're SO glad you did, Crystal!

The best part is that fans will get to see a glimpse of Allison in Marie-Jeanne's character — they are related, after all.

"There are little things I got to do with the character that Allison might have done — a little look or a gesture or the way she walks," Crystal said. "She shares that basic, intrinsic quality Allison had that was just pure kindness. She's fighting for justice and for what's right, and that’s something I think they have in common that people will love."

As for a potential Argent-family "Teen Wolf" spin-off (ZOMG), never say never!

"That would be amazing," the actress admitted, saying there has been some spin-off chatter. "I would be so stoked to do that."

Go behind the scenes with Crystal in the below clip, and tune in to "Teen Wolf" next Tuesday at 9/8c for some shocking revelations about La Bête!
