Justin Bieber's Mom Makes Anti-Abortion Film So All Potential Tween Stars Have a Chance at Fame, er, Life

Justin Bieber's mother has been insanely successful at raking in mega loot piles thanks to her son's perfect side-sweeping locks, so now she thinks it's time for her to start PSA-ing in everyone's faces about the woes of abortion.

Yep, her name is Pattie Mallette and she's now got an executive producer credit under her belt for the short anti-abortion flick "Crescendo."

She and production company Movie to Movement will be screening the flick on Feb. 28 at 100 different locations - with appearances by Mallette expected at some - and proceeds will go to crisis pregnancy centers, which have proven to be quite controversial in recent years. Reportedly, she's hoping to raise $10 million for these sort of clinics.

Per Billboard, Mallette said she hopes the film will "encourage young women all over the world, just like me, to let them know that there is a place to go, people who will take care of you and a safe home to live in if you are pregnant and think you have nowhere else to turn."

As she wrote in her 2012 memoir, "Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber's Mom," Mallette became pregnant with him at the tender age of 17 and felt pressured to abort him rather than carry the child to term. Fast forward eighteen years, and voila! He's an international sensation worth jillions. That's millions times billions, people.

Below is a trailer for "Crescendo," from writer-director Alonso Alvarez and starring former Miss USA Ali Landry. The short is set in the 18th century Holy Roman Empire, and follows a woman whose ordinary day becomes life-changing somehow (wild guess: she becomes pregnant).

Also, here's a call to action from Pattie Mallette herself about the film.
