On Friday (December 6), the long-awaited nominations for music's biggest honors were announced at "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!!" First-time nominees include Lorde, the 17-year-old New Zealander who broke out with the chart-topping "Royals," and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, whose epic "Can't Hold Us" and gay rights ode "Same Love" hit immediate success after their viral "Thrift Shop."

During the concert, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lorde and more performed between nomination announcements.
