There is no redemption in Dylan's new video, though. Directed by Nash Edgerton, who has made previous Dylan clips and worked on stunts for flicks like The Matrix and the recent Star Wars movies, it depicts someone getting his comeuppance. Shot in hazy, '70s-ish tones and wide angles, it tells the tale of a man getting kind of stalkerish about a brunette. In the first few scenes, it reads like a Mentos commercial, as he pursues her with a warm grin. He steals a flower and tries to give it to her—after she's gotten in her car—but she pushes him away and speeds off. Meanwhile, a white-brimmed-hat-wearing Dylan walks the street at night with a motley crew of cronies, including one person in full Gene Simmons "Demon" regalia. He doesn't speak the entire video; he just walks like a gang leader of sorts, flanked by those who will follow him. Theft, abductions, and brutality follows.
