Usher, Tameka Foster Welcome Baby Boy

Son, possibly named Usher Raymond V, was born Monday night.

Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, welcomed a baby boy at 9:55 p.m. Monday night, a representative for the singer has confirmed to MTV News. The baby weighed 7 pounds and 9 ounces and has been named Usher Raymond V.

Usher said in a statement released Wednesday (November 28), "We are so happy and proud of our beautiful son. What a blessing!"

Usher was with his wife and new son Tuesday at an Atlanta hospital, and the family is expected to head home on Wednesday, according to People.com.
