Britney Spears On Working With "Mutt," Shania

While recording her upcoming album "Oops!... I Did It Again," Britney Spears was blessed with a battery of super-producers, as well as a song co-written by a husband-wife duo with more platinum between them than Spears herself.

Producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, best known for his work with AC/DC, Def Leppard and his record-breaking wife Shania Twain, can be found on "Oops!...," and he shares co-writer credit with Twain on a song called "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know.

I was so excited when I found out I was going to be able to work with him," Spears told MTV News' Chris Connelly. "He was like the most amazing producer of all time, I think. I went to his house and I watched, looked at this wall, and it was just [covered with things featuring] all the people he's ever worked with. And he is just like a legend. He was amazing.

He not only does country music," she continued, "he does rock. He's so talented. I was so upset, though, because the day I got

there, Shania had left the day before. I was like [disappointed], 'Really?' I wanted to meet her.

Although she never had the chance to hang out with Shania in the studio, Spears fell in love with the song the couple co-wrote.

[article id="1450649"]"When you hear the song, it's so pure and delicate,"[/article] Spears explained. [article id="1450649"]"It's just one of those songs that pull you in. That's why I like it, and I like singing it as well.

I think they wrote it 'specially for me,"[/article] she continued, [article id="1450649"]"because the lyrics of the song, if you really listen... they're more of what I can relate to, 'cause they're kind of young lyrics, I think. I don't think Shania would probably sing some of the words that I'm saying." [RealVideo][/article]

In addition to "Mutt" Lange, other producers appearing on "Oops!... I Did It Again" include teen pop guru Max Martin (who worked on Spears' debut)

and Rodney Jerkins, who's currently shaping Michael Jackson's latest studio project.
