Here’s What Alex O’Connell From 'The Mummy Returns' Looks Like Now

He's still super cute

Fifteen years ago today (May 4), the second film in The Mummy trilogy premiered. The Mummy Returns reunited Rick (Brendan Fraser) and Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) O'Connell as Egypt's favorite couple, and this go-around, they had a son, Alex (Freddie Boath).

After Alex accidentally locked the Bracelet of Anubis onto his wrist, he had seven days to reach Ahm Shere, or he'd die. Arguably, Boath's character is the film's scene stealer, thanks to his quick wit, mischievousness, and resourcefulness.

...and now he's all grown up.

Since his mummy-battling days, Boath was in the Starz TV miniseries The Pillars of the Earth, based on Ken Follett's novel of the same name. Moreover, he had a recurring role on Nickelodeon's House of Anubis as Benji Reed.

His hair has definitely changed over the past 15 years, and he's had a slight career change.

According to LinkedIn, Boath is now a "marketing and advertising professional," but still hopes to continue acting.

After graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor of Arts, he completed an internship at London's The Red Brick Road, an advertising agency.

They grow up so fast.
