Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran Offer Up A Twist In 'Everything Has Changed' Video

One day after attending the CMT Music Awards, Swift and Sheeran premiere their new clip, off Swift's 'Red' album.

They are besties on the road who hang out at glitzy award shows, like Wednesday's 2013 CMT Music Awards. But in their just-released new music video for [article id="1695782"]"Everything Has Changed,"[/article] Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are stripping down all the glamour of pop-star life to pay homage to the simple pleasures of a sun-drenched suburban childhood.

The clip follows a fair-haired little girl as she hops on the school bus. When she gets to school she meets a ginger-haired little boy and immediately they become friends. Their innocent friendship mimics the lyrics of Swift and Sheeran's duet about a butterflies-inducing courtship.

The two schoolmates do typical elementary school activities with one another (build forts, make arts and crafts), but along the way there are hints that they just might be kid versions of their super-famous adult look-alikes. The little girl wears frilly dresses and tries out red lipstick, while the little boy strums the guitar and gets fake tats. Could it be they are, in fact, Taylor and Ed before all the fame and fortune?

Watching the video, it would seem like fans are being treated to some kind of origin story about how Taylor and Ed ended up being pals as adults. But there's a twist. Each of the pop stars is the parent to one of the two young BFFs. After the school bell rings, the two kids run out and give hugs to their respective parents, who share a quick glance and then go their separate ways.
