Seems like DC is finally getting their "Justice League" movie on the right track. At this year's San Diego Comic Con, DC and Warner Bros. announced their plans to release a "Superman vs. Batman" movie (directed by Zack Snyder) and a movie centered around the Scarlet Speedster known as "The Flash."

Pushed back to 2016, the "Justice League" movie is sure to be an "Avengers" level hit for Warner Bros.—if done properly, that is. With all of this talk of superhero team-ups, we can't help but be reminded of the "Justice League" animated series. Reminisce with us after the jump!

After the huge success of Bruce Timm's "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Superman: The Animated Series," the animator went on to become executive producer on an animated series featuring all of DC's most popular superheroes. Starring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Hawkgirl, and Green Lantern, the series was considered a huge success during its original broadcast and went on to spawn a second series with an even bigger cast: "Justice League Unlimited."

Secret Origins

As alien invaders plot to take over the Earth, Batman and Superman call together Earth's bravest superheroes with the help of the telepathic martian J'onn J'onzz. Gathering together in a massive satellite funded by Wayne Enterprises, the newly formed Justice League bands together in order to protect our world from the alien threat.

Injustice For All

Discovering that he's only got a few months left to live due to prolonged Kryptonite exposure, Lex Luthor assembles a team of supervillains that he dubs the Injustice Gang. A number of big DC villains guest star in this episode, including the likes of The Shade, Cheetah, Solomon Grundy, Star Sapphire, Copperhead, and the Joker.

A Better World

Taking place in an alternate universe in which Lex Luthor is president and the Flash has been killed, Superman murders President Luthor and the Justice Lords become the supreme rulers of the planet, later dispensing their own brand of rough justice on the version of the Justice League that exists in our universe.

Hereafter

After Superman is flung 30,000 years into Earth's future by a blast from one of Toyman's experimental weapons, a bounty hunting Czarnian named Lobo drops in unexpectedly to take the Man of Steel's place.

Starcrossed

When the Thanagarians begin their invasion of our planet, it's revealed that Hawkgirl has been a spy for her home planet the entire time. Reverting to their secret identities and seeking refuge in Bruce's Batcave, the Justice League is forced into hiding while Hawkgirl must choose between the people of her world or the people of our world.
