Green Day's Billie Joe with South Park's Cartman?

Well, at least for the upcoming "South Park" record, that is. Green Day is the most recent act to confirm its appearance on the forthcoming soundtrack album due in September, contributing a song called "Desensitized" that was previously only available in Japan.

As we reported last month (see [article id="1426088"]"Teddy Riley Sends Spice Girls Possible 'South Park' Tracks[/article]) the Spice Girls have already recorded a song that it will submit to the South Park album. The song, "Boyfriend, Girlfriend" was the first that the group cut as a quartet, and the group was aided with the song by ace producer Teddy Riley.

A Spice Girls track that includes the departed Ginger Spice, will, however, be included on another TV-based soundtrack, this one for "Sabrina: The Teenage Witch." The song, entitled "Walk of Life," was previously only available as a European B-side.

Other artists serving up musical

incantations for "Sabrina" include the Backstreet Boys, Ben Folds Five, Chumbawamba, Robyn and the teenage witch herself, Melissa Joan Hart, who performs a cover of Blondie's "One Way or Another.
