"The Avengers" was without a doubt one of the best superhero movies of 2012, if not the very best. But realistic? No, that's not a word we would use to describe a movie filled with a time-displaced super-soldier, an armor-clad multi-billionaire industrialist, a thunder god and a gamma-infused titan.

That's not even mentioning the various forms of technology seen throughout the Joss Whedon super-flick, like pretty much everything owned and operated by S.H.I.E.L.D., for example. The Helicarrier, in particular, is a very cool idea, but one that wouldn't quite work in the real world.

But YouTube user Native118 disagrees, not only believing in the Helicarrier's potential to exist in our world, but setting out to prove it by building a remote-control Helicarrier of their very own. Check it out in motion in the video below!

Not exactly the kind of vehicle that's going to instill fear in the hearts of HYDRA sleeper cells across the globe, no, but still pretty damn cool for an "Avengers" fan to see in action. Now, where the heck can we get our hands on one of these bad boys?
