Ahhh, the wait is finally over! The oh-so-highly-anticipated Rihanna for River Island collection debuted at London Fashion Week this evening after a very (VERY) fashionably late start, and we have to say--we're totally on-board with her comfy girly-yet-grunge pieces. She kicked off her show with Kanye West and Jay-Z's "Clique" blasting to a light show on a multi-level platform stage, and then sent out a two-piece denim ensemble for her opening look. She remixed traditional denim overalls but cutting them into two pieces and adding an extra layer of baggy jeans (literally) on top of a lighter pair, which we've never seen before. Other looks included a simple two-piece black bodysuit with a oversized parka and thigh-high lace-up boots, and a tie-dye off-the-shoulder crop top and skater skirt ensemble which TOTALLY reminds us of her denim Jeremy Scott "We Found Love" music video look.

Rihanna said before she wanted her line to fit "different moods" and "different attitudes" while being "casual, chic, and flirty." Well, after seeing her collection, we think she hit the nail right on the head, as she showed a comfy-yet-edgy sheer, high-to-low red dress with simple stilettos for one look and a slim maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit and cropped sweatshirt for another. She also played with patterns, including a very '90s floral print that she put on sheer blouses, knee-length shorts, and floor-length dresses. The full collection will hit stores March 5, so you've got some time to pick out all your favorite pieces! But tell us, did you like Rihanna's debut River Island collection?
