Jennifer Aniston Goes On The Prowl For Younger Men In 'Pumas'

Former co-star and real-life BFF Courtney Cox was first to the trend, signing on as executive producer and star of the ABC sitcom "Cougar Town," and now Jen is following suit headlining the romantic comedy "Pumas," Variety reports. The film centers on two thirtysomething women who "make a habit of romancing younger men and take a French skiing vacation that challenges their romantic expectations."

Jennifer's already earned her cougar stripes having romanced rocker John Mayer, who is eight years her junior, so we're sure she'll excel in this romantic role. We can't help but wonder, though, if the whole cougar/MILF genre is due for a glass of Ovaltine and a long nap. "SNL" has successfully skewered the May-December movement with its over-the- top "Cougar Den" sketch, while reality dating shows like "The Cougar" and "Age of Love" have sapped all the vitality out of the trend. When Jen's flick finally hits the big screen, we have a feeling the genre will be even more tired and wrinkled than it is now.

What do you think about Jennifer Aniston being cast in "Pumas"? Are you over the cougar genre?
