By Sowmya Krishnamurthy

Singer Natina Reed, of the late 90s R& group Blaque, was laid to rest on Saturday (November 3) at Abundant Life Church in Lithonia, Georgia, with former fiance Kurupt and her young son in attendance.

According to the Daily Mail members of Blaque, plus Chili and T-Boz from TLC and rappers including Big Boi and Snoop Dogg were also present.

"We luv u Natina ..... #MissedButNotForgottin " tweeted rapper Kurupt on November 3rd along with a photo of the 10-year-old son Tren he shared with Natina. According to TMZ, Kurupt (who was no longer dating the singer) paid for the funeral services. He will continue to have custody over Tren.

"Myself and Tren, Natina's son, would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time," Kurupt told MTV News in a statement. "This is a tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did."

Blaque enjoyed pop success with singles like "808" and "Bring It All to Me" in the late 90s and early 00s. They also appeared as cheerleaders in the 2000 classic "Bring It On."

Although earlier reports cited an unidentified hit-and-run driver as culpable in Reed's death, a Gwinnett County police spokesperson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that "As of right now, it does not appear that the driver has any fault in this event," adding that it he actually contacted police about the accident and wasn't expected to face any charges. Reed was apparently standing at the roadway late Friday night, and officials are seeking assistance from "anyone who might have information about anything that could help us determine why she was there."
