Leighton admits that before she could earn the Blair Waldorf crown, she had to walk a mile in the chic Upper East Sider's shoes (literally). So she bought a pair of she could imagine herself as a Manhattanite prancing in: red leather slingbacks from Marc by Marc Jacobs. "In my heart, I could picture myself wearing them living in New York," she recalled to the magazine. "So I wore them to the audition and got the part. I can't give them away because every time I wear them, I'm living that dream."

It’s about as hard not to like Leighton Meester as it is to like her “Gossip Girl” alter ego Blair Waldorf. But as to whether or not she is like her Upper East Side persona, Leighton tells Bazaar she’s an entirely different person. “I'm a very good girl, to be honest. I don't do anything to hurt anybody. Honestly, all I ever do is work,” she admitted.

That is to say, she didn’t have enough time make that sex tape. But as for the provocative pics that made their way to the internet, well, “[as for] me being 18 in those pictures,” Leighton said, “I don't believe I was.” Was that just an admission of guilt?

Regardless, the only thing that could really grind our gears is how little she has to work for that fabulous body. "She can handle these big, gigantic sandwiches, and she's got the most tiny little gorgeous figure,” costar and British hottie Ed Westwick said of Leighton’s eating tendencies. “I don't know, man, it certainly doesn't work for me."

Yeah, us neither.
