Kanye West's Louis Vuitton Sneakers Inspired By 'Dune'

You know, most interns have to do the grunt work: grab coffee, refill the copier and go on runs. Usually, they don't complain, because in the end, it's all about the experience, right? Well leave it to Kanye West to outshine interns everywhere.

Late last year, West announced that he wanted to be an intern at Louis Vuitton. While many are skeptical about that, he's already collaborated with the French luxury brand to release his own line of five sneakers.

(Check out Kanye in his new kicks, after the jump!)

According to the New York Times' T fashion blog, the one style of sneakers that was shown on the Paris runway was "a monochromatic midtop with no frills, save for a quilted flap in the back, all the easier to tuck pants into." 'Ye said that the sneakers were inspired by a jacket with a huge collar from the movie "Dune." (We love that he's a sci-fi geek and a fashionista.)

Kanye posted photos from the show on his blog -- shortly after his rant about porn rumors and having his online accounts hacked.

This is West's second sneaker collaboration. He's previously teamed up with Nike to design the Air Yeezy, making me and fellow sneaker heads extremely jealous.
