James Van Der Beek Honors 10th Anniversary Of 'Dawson's' Crying Scene With New 'Van Der Memes'

Sad Keanu. F--k yeah, Ryan Gosling. Hugh Jackman's zipline fail. Strutting Leo. And, of course, James Van Der Beek crying. What would the Internet be without these amazing memes?

Fortunately, Van Der Beek is a good sport about his, and in honor of the 10 year anniversary of his infamous "Dawson's Creek" crying scene, he decided to introduce a new website: James Van Der Memes.

"If you're under the age of 20, odds are that you know me best from a five second clip of me crying," Van Der Beek said in his Funny or Die video promoting the website. "The more I saw it in website comments sections mocking the sadness of others, the more I realized what the Internet was really demanding: more intense emotional close-ups of my face."

The website is pretty hilarious, with Van Der Beek offering up a whopping 25 memes! There's a 10-year anniversary edition of the crying face, the mildly disturbing "O-Face" (for the ladies), a finger-wagging "No You Didn't," an "In Da Club (Alt: Hide Yo Kids)" riff on Antoine Dodson's auto-tuned "Bed Intruder" interview and, my personal favorite, "Dramatic Dawson". It's a good thing Van Der Beek can laugh at himself, or else we might never have received such a generous helping of hilarity on this bleak January afternoon.

Now all we need is for someone to sit Keanu Reeves, Leonardo DiCaprio and Hugh Jackman down in a room and force them to acknowledge their own Internet memes. We have that power here at MTV, right?

Do you think James Van Der Beek's take on his Internet meme is funny?
