Justin, Christina, Stripes Lead MTV Europe Music Awards Nominees
Justified and Stripped or Justified and Striped, take your pick -- either works as a theme for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
Christina Aguilera and the White Stripes each earned four nominations for the 10th annual event, topped only by -- who else? -- Justin Timberlake. The 'NSYNC singer will vie for five awards at the November 6 ceremony in Edinburgh, Scotland, including Best Album (Justified), Best Song ("Cry Me a River"), Best Male, Best Pop and Best New Act. Aguilera will host the show, which will feature performances by Beyoncé, Sean Paul, Kylie Minogue, the Chemical Brothers, the Flaming Lips and Travis.
Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction will be presenters, along with others to be announced, MTV Europe announced Monday.
Following Timberlake, Aguilera and the White Stripes are four acts with three nominations apiece: 50 Cent, Evanescence, Sean Paul and Robbie Williams. Eminem, Good Charlotte, Metallica, Beyoncé, Pink, Kylie Minogue and Craig David each have two nominations.
