There's nothing quite like a good celebrity prank. In addition to letting us know that our favorite stars really are "just like us" -- except better at pranking -- they make us laugh our assess off, especially when the targets of said pranks are also celebrities.

Numerous celebs have tried their hand at pranking, but these nine take the cake for really bringing it to the next level. Find out why below!

Justin Bieber

Bieber is obviously famous for "other" extracurricular activities outside his music career, but you have to hand it to the guy -- he's a pretty damn good prankster. From making Taylor Swift think she blew up a boat to terrifying bathroom-goers with Ellen, he gets an A+ prank-score from us.

Emily Blunt (And John Krasinski)

The couple that pranks together, stays together. And Blunt and Krasinski have proven themselves to be quite the pranksters -- particularly when it comes to their neighbor Kimmel, who has now received a solid taste of his own bitter medicine thanks to some seriously elaborate pranks.

Sacha Baron Cohen

Not everyone is a fan of Baron Cohen's pranks -- remember when he threw ashes on Ryan Seacrest? -- but whether or not you thought it was taseful, you have to admit that his 2013 Britannia Awards murder prank will go down in the history books.

Channing Tatum

Anyone who moons Jonah Hill on an airplane is cool with us.

Before the days of the Jimmys Kimmel and Fallon pulling pranks on -- and with -- celebs on the reg, there was Ashton, making headlines for "Punking" the likes of Beyoncé, Kanye, and most famously, Justin Timberlake. Ashton was the king of reminding us that stars really are just like us, and for that we'll thank him forever. (And as a favor to him, we'll choose to forgive those trucker hats.)

Sweet, wonderful Ellen is the queen of the daytime TV prank -- a little less mean than her nighttime cohorts, her tricks always seem to have an innocent, almost heartwarming element that makes them addicting to watch. It's hard to pick just one, so please enjoy a freaking SUPERCUT of all the times that Ellen scared the crap out of people.

Tina Fey And Amy Poehler

Everybody knows by now that Tina and Amy are always "down to clown," as Amy Poehler puts it in her new book. Especially during the Golden Globes, where half (okay, three-quarters) of the fun comes from waiting to see what kind of skits and pranks the ladies will perform when they're not roasting George Clooney in their monologues.

Jimmy Kimmel

True, Ashton did it first, but Kimmel's pranks on celebs (like his neighbors Emily Blunt and John Krasinski) have become more famous than his actual interviews on "Kimmel Live." However, it's his pranks on normal people -- especially children -- that have us dying with laughter, because nothing is funnier and more vicious than a kid who thinks he's been robbed of his candy. You sneaky mom.

George Clooney

We've known for years that Clooney is much more than just a handsome face -- the man has five decades' worth of well thought out, extremely elaborate pranks to add to his resume. From dumping buckets of water on the heads of Julia Roberts and Bernie Mac to cleaning Richard Kind's cat's litter box for weeks without his knowledge to make him think his cat was constipated, Clooney is the king.
