Jennifer Lawrence And Amy Schumer Need To Host Next Year’s Golden Globes

JLaw/ASchu 2017!

They might not be romantically involved with one another, but there's no doubt that Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence are the new hit couple of Hollywood. Their friendship transcends the laws of physics and time, and it's all anyone in the film industry is talking about.

So it was only fitting that when it was time to present scenes from their films, "Trainwreck" and "Joy," at the Golden Globes tonight (Jan. 10), Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence chose to walk on stage together and share the spotlight. Well, maybe it was more like a model walk.

The two introduced themselves by referring to their popular celebrity names, "J Law" and... "A Schu." However, seeing as no one has ever referred to Amy by that name, Jennifer Lawrence pointed out that her friend would have to pick a real nickname. "What do people usually call you?" she asked, to which Amy responded with something that NBC had to bleep in the broadcast. Whoops!

Jennifer also taught the "Inside Amy Schumer" star about the wonders of celebrity couple nicknames (although frankly, we're not convinced that "Amy and All The Hemsworths" are a real item), and then the two heckled an audience member for having their cell phone out before it all devolved into a plea for "dreams, helping children, world peace, cars, medicine."

"As women in Hollywood, people have a lot of conceived notions about us," Jennifer Lawrence said, trying to get things back on track.

"You know, like they're so pretty and everyone likes them and wants to hang out with them and they seem so fun to be around and oh, they should be models," Amy added.

And then J Law gave up and rolled the clips, which is too bad because we could have watched these two superstars for hours.

If Tina and Amy ever wanted to give up their crown as the reining co-hosting queens of the Golden Globes, Jennifer and Amy could -- or better yet, maybe all four of them could host at once?
