Pennywise are currently working on their fifth as-yet-untitled album in the Redondo Beach, California studio dubbed Stall #2, which is owned and operated by the band's guitarist, Fletcher Dragge, and its drummer, Byron McMakin.

The in-progress album, which is due out in March, will feature such tracks as "Alien," "Can't Take Anymore," "Go Straight Ahead," "Never Live To See The Day," and "Might Be A Dream."

Pennywise frontman Jim Lindberg, who also sings back-up on the Offspring's "Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)," along with Jack Grisham of TSOL, says of their studio work and the album, "Being in the studio is hard for us. We're a live band. We fight like cats and dogs in the studio, but that's how the intensity of the music comes out. On the new album, half of the songs are songs you'd expect to hear from us - fast, energetic, punk, songs. The other half are more experimental. There isn't any swing, ska, or jazz, but they're not typical straight ahead fast punk. We always want

to give our fans what they expect and something different."

The group will be posting both audio and video clips weekly of the recording process on their new website located at www.pennywisdom.com, which will launch in November. The site will also feature candid photos of the band and an audio clip of Dragge vomiting on the "Love Line" radio show.

Pennywise will also be performing on the Australian leg of the Vans Warped Tour, which kicks off on December 30 as part of a bill that includes the Deftones, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, MxPx, Hepcat and others.
