Disturbed To Spread Sickness On Tour

Maladjusted Chicagoans hitting North American cities, with Spineshank, Skrape, Godhead in tow.

Disturbed's Sickness will become a multinational epidemic when the band's first-ever headlining tour kicks off on March 16 in St. Louis.

Touring behind their debut album, The Sickness, the quartet will hit over 40 cities in the U.S. and Canada before the outing is scheduled to wrap up on May 12 in Philadelphia.

Additional shows are expected to be added to the itinerary, keeping Disturbed occupied until they join Ozzfest's second-stage lineup starting on June 8 in their hometown of Chicago, according to their publicist.

Bassist Fuzz will rejoin bandmates David Draiman (vocals), Dan Donegan (guitar) and Mike Wengren (drums) onstage for the first time since an ankle injury forced him to miss several European dates opening for Marilyn Manson (see [article id="1437929"]"Disturbed Bassist Won't Make European Trek Due To Injury"[/article]).

Opening the first leg of the tour will be L.A.'s industrialized Spineshank, supporting their latest album, The Height of Callousness; Marilyn Manson protégés Godhead, touting their second album, 2000 Years of Human Error; and nü-metal newcomers Skrape, whose debut, New Killer America, will be released March 20. Warm-up acts for later dates include math-metallists Mudvayne and thrash quintet Nothingface.
