Jennifer Lopez To Begin Recording Second Album

Singer/actress will work on LP after wrapping movie 'Angel Eyes.'

Jennifer Lopez plans to begin recording her second album later this year, the singer/actress/dancer said on Sunday.

But first she will shoot her third consecutive film, "Angel Eyes."

"I love singing; I love dancing; I love acting — I wouldn't say that I love one more than the other," the multitalented performer told reporters at the fifth annual American Latino Media Arts Awards. "They're all different creative outlets for me, as an artist."

The ALMA Awards, which were held at the Pasadena (Calif.) Civic Auditorium, honored Lopez as Female Entertainer of the Year.

Her multiplatinum debut album, On the 6, includes the hit singles "Feelin' So Good," featuring late rapper Big Punisher, and "If You Had My Love" (RealAudio excerpt).

Lopez recently finished filming "The Wedding Planner," with Matthew McConaughey, in San Francisco. The film is expected for release around Valentine's Day of next year, she said. She'll first turn up on the big screen in "The Cell," set to open Aug. 18.
