A new Madonna tribute album includes interpretations of the

Material Girl's work by Gene Loves Jezebel ("Frozen"),

KMFDM ("Material Girl"), Berlin ("Live to Tell"),

Annabella Lwin of Bow Wow Wow ("Like a Virgin") and

others. Virgin Voices Vol. 1, released in March, is the latest in

a series of tribute records from the Cleopatra label. Albums

spotlighting the songs of U2, Prince and Aerosmith are due

later this year.
