NASHVILLE — Top country performers Martina McBride and Tim McGraw have joined the lineup for George Strait's Country Music Festival tour, which runs April 29–June 11.
Strait — whose new album, Latest Greatest Straitest Hits (March 7), includes the song "The Best Day" (RealAudio excerpt) — headlines the tour, which includes Asleep at the Wheel, Kenny Chesney, Mark Chesnutt and Lee Ann Womack. Second-stage performances by Jerry Kilgore and newcomers Clay Davidson and Lace round out each daylong concert.
This marks Strait's third consecutive summer stadium tour.
