Matt Dillon Is 'Totally Open' To Joining Brother Kevin In 'Entourage' Movie

"Quite possibly, yes," he said when asked about an "Entourage" movie. "We still have a couple more seasons to do, but yeah. We'd like to follow in the 'Sex and the City' footsteps and do a movie."

Just after this news originally broke, I hopped on the phone with Matt Dillon—the Drugstore Cowboy and brother to Kevin Dillon, otherwise known as Johnny Drama on "Entourage"—and I got to wondering. I've always expected Matt to show up in an episode, if only as a fun inside joke: Johnny Drama's bro is Vince (Adrian Grenier) and here comes Kevin's real life bro Matt. But that cameo has never happened. Could the movie finally be the occasion when Matt and Kevin meet on-camera?

"I'm totally open to it," Matt said, adding that he hadn't heard much about the prospect.

But as Dillon explained, he doesn't have to wait until the film to meet up with the "Entourage" crew. It's just a matter of the difficulty in finding the right way to introduce the cameo—at least he hopes that's the reason he hasn't already gotten the call.

"Honestly, probably—I like to think this is the case—is they say, 'Well, how can we use Matt in this film or in the TV show as a guest appearance when everybody knows Kevin's his brother and he's already got a brother in the show?' We'd have to do it in some way that'd be different, and I guess that's why it hasn't happened yet."
