Monica, who shared a Grammy Award with Brandy for "The Boy Is Mine" (the title track off Monica's sophomore record), will be honored next by the singer's hometown of Atlanta.

Mayor Bill Campbell has invited Monica to be the guest of honor at a special ceremony at city hall, where he will present her with the Phoenix Award for being the only 1999 Grammy winner from Atlanta.

Guests invited to the event include TLC, Outkast, Jermaine Dupri, Usher, Montell Jordan, Faith Evans, 112, Da Brat, Atlanta Falcons' running back Jamal Anderson, and producers Dallas Austin and L.A. Reid.
