Wagon Christ, Propellerheads, Meat Beat Manifesto and the Scratch Perverts will be among the artists featured on Tektonics, an upcoming compilation album that merges the music of electronica producers and turntablists. San Francisco's Om Records will issue the LP on March 7, an Om publicist said. The goal of the project, according to Om's website, is to "bridge the gap between 'electronic' music and underground hip-hop purists. We are striving to create something entirely original, opening new directions in electronic music."
