'Amazing Amy' Spins Off From 'Gone Girl' In This Chillingly Adorable Kids Book [Exclusive]

You don't know what you've got until it's a children's book.

On January 13, "Gone Girl" will finally hit DVD and Blu-Ray from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, but it won't be coming alone. Fans of David Fincher's dark retelling of Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel are in for a treat, as the Blu-Ray comes packaged with a 36-page children's book story featuring the one and only Amazing Amy.

That's right, the double-fictional character spin-off of Rosamund Pike's Amy Dunne has her own, for real kid's book, titled "Tattle Tale." In the movie -- and novel -- the Amazing Amy books are written by her parents, two psychologists who have a tendency to take the things that happen to Amy and make them even... Better.

And in the first six pages being exclusively debuted here on MTV News, you can tell that Amy tries to do the right thing; but just like in the movie, there's something not quite right about her. You can read the rest of the story for yourself tomorrow... Until then, though, let's hope things turn out okay for that poor maid.
