Alice Cooper will perform in Phoenix on New Year's Eve at his

restaurant/bar, Alice Cooper'stown, according to a representative for the

shock rocker. SonicNet Music News erroneously reported Nov. 24

that Cooper would join Metallica, Kid Rock and Ted Nugent

in Pontiac, Mich., for a New Year's Eve show at the Silverdome. Cooper

has invited several artists who also will perform Dec. 31 in Phoenix to

join him for an all-star jam session after their respective gigs; they

include Sugar Ray, the Temptations, the Righteous Brothers,

the Judds, Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, Waylon

Jennings, Merle Haggard and Megadeth frontman Dave

Mustaine. Tickets for Cooper's Millennium Masquerade Party are still

available.
