Hundreds of free tracks from Black Flag, fIREHOSE, the Descendents and Soundgarden will become available online at the RioPort.com digital audio site by the end of the month, the company announced Monday (Nov. 15). The promo tracks will arrive through a deal between RioPort and SST Records/Cruz Records to bring the label's catalog of artists online. Additional artists involved in the agreement include rockers the Meat Puppets, the Minutemen, Dinosaur Jr and the Screaming Trees as well as reggae/hardcore band Bad Brains. RioPort will offer one or two songs from each artist's albums under the SST Records label in both MP3 and Windows Media formats.
