It was an epic battle for the ages. Two heroes took the field, and only one could win the Super Bowl... The Super Bowl of charity, that is! And we're talking about Marvel heroes Chris Pratt, a.k.a. Star-Lord of the "Guardians of the Galaxy," and Chris Evans, a.k.a. Captain America.

Back on January 21, we first reported that Seahawks fan Pratt and Patriots fan Evans had struck up a friendly rivalry, attempting to determine whose team would eventually win the big game.

Pratt didn't take the taunting lying down -- and proved he was more than just an a-hole (that's a "Guardians" reference, you guys) when he challenged Evans to a dress up for charity.

The duo then spent the next several days taunting each other while also setting up phone lines to help raise more money, like a bunch of jerks. And finally, the big day arrived. And naturally, they went to the Super Bowl together because they lead charmed lives and are wonderful people.

Oh yeah, also Chris Pratt is married to Anna Faris because he's living our dream life. Don't believe us? Remember that dream where you got to train a dance team of dinosaurs?

There you go. Anyway, end of the night the Patriots triumphed, and Pratt conceded:

No, your eyes don't deceive you. This whole thing, the whole "fight" between Chris Evans and Chris Pratt is culminating in a visit to a place called Christopher's Haven because there weren't enough Chrises involved in this and ARE YOU KIDDING ME.

Not only that, but Evans graciously accepted Pratt's defeat...

By not only agreeing to come with him, but also promising they're both visiting both hospitals. Which is incredible, heart-warming, and now we won't be able to watch that "Guardians/Captain America" fan mash-up we made without sobbing.
