Piano man Billy Joel will ring in the new year onstage at New York's

Madison Square Garden, according to his label. Although Joel has said

recently that he plans to retire such pop hits as "Piano Man," "Just the

Way You Are" and "Only the Good Die Young," the New Year's Eve show is

expected to include those career highlights. Joel has said he wants to

concentrate on classical music and leave his pop career behind.
