Pink Floyd To Release New Live Album
Art-rockers Pink Floyd will commemorate the 20th anniversary of
their concept album The Wall (1979) with the Dec. 1 release of
Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live. The new double-CD will
consist of performances recorded by the band during its tours in support
of the album in 1980 and '81, according to EMI Records. Floyd
bassist/lyricist Roger Waters, who left the band in 1984, recently
mounted a successful solo tour. The group, which continued without Waters,
most recently released another live album, Pulse (1995).
