Ska-punks Goldfinger will release an EP, Darrin's Coconut Ass — Live from Omaha, Nov. 9, according to their publicist. Despite its misleading title, the release is an in-studio recording featuring the band covering such rock songs as the Cure's "Just Like Heaven," the Who's "The Kids Are Alright" and the Police's "Man in a Suitcase." Goldfinger, who are planning to release an LP in February, will kick off a tour with Bloodhound Gang, Showoff and the Hippos Sept. 29 in Las Vegas. The outing runs through an Oct. 23 show in Providence, R.I.
