Singer Rejoins Iron Maiden

Veteran U.K. heavy-metallers Iron Maiden announced Wednesday (Feb. 10)

they will reunite with singer Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith

for an album to be recorded later this year and a tour this summer. Dickinson, who quit in

1993 and has released several solo albums (and written a series of novels), and Smith,

who left in 1990, were in the band throughout its glory years in the 1980s. The new

lineup, which plans to tour the U.S. and Europe between July and September, includes

Dickinson, Smith, Dave Murray and Janick Gers (guitars), Steve

Harris (bass), and Nicko McBrain (drums). Singer Blaze Bayley,

who replaced Dickinson, has been ousted.
