English ska-act Madness, who first found success in the '80s new-wave scene,

plan to return with a pair of albums this year, beginning with the March 2 issue of

Universal Madness. This live LP was recorded in April at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. They have not released an album of new material since Mad Not Mad in 1985. Prior to the

release of the live album, the band plans to enter a London studio in February to record

a new LP with the production team of Clive Langer and Alan

Winstanley (Elvis Costello) with an eye toward a fall release.
