Wilson, Sinatra Join Wondermints In L.A.
Brian Wilson, Nancy Sinatra, Wondermints, Green Day, Third Eye Blind, Foo Fighters ...
Beach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson and
Nancy Sinatra,
daughter of late crooner Frank Sinatra, joined
post-mod pop rockers the
Wondermints onstage at Spaceland in L.A. on Tuesday night.
With the
Wondermints providing the musical backdrop, Sinatra performed
her 1966 classic,
"These Boots Are Made for Walking," while Wilson performed
the Beach Boys tune "Do It
Again." The Wondermints -- perhaps best known for the theme song
from "Austin
Powers: International Man of Mystery" -- played a full set
that included selections from
their self-titled 1995 debut album, as well as their soon-to-be
released Bali LP.
