Grunge-rockers the Melvins will begin recording the follow-up to last year's Honky next week in Los Angeles, according to Amphetamine Reptile Records spokesman Dave Peil. On bass will be the Cows' Kevin Rutmanis, who steps into a revolving-door position last held by Mark Deutron. The as-yet-untitled disc is due in spring 1999.
