Chartwatch: Marilyn Manson Scores
Actually, they're really quite happy about this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We know that Celine Dion's Falling
Into You (boring) and Kenny G's The Moment (disgusting) took the one
and two slots this week on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. But what
we care about is the debut of Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar in
the #3 position with healthy sales of 132,000 copies. Must be that weird video
in which Mr. Manson bops around with a strange contraption over his mouth. Just
in case you were wonderin', the live Nirvana disk, From the Muddy Banks of
the Wishkah dropped to #4 with sales of 93,000 copies.
