Depeche Mode To Play Letterman

Synth-pop band Depeche Mode are scheduled to perform on the "Late Show
with David Letterman" on Nov. 2, marking only the second time the British band has
appeared on U.S. television. The performance will take place one week into the North
American leg of the group's Singles 86>98 tour, which gets underway Oct. 27 in
Worcester, Mass. The Singles 86>98 album has been in stores since Oct. 6.
