New York punks the Bouncing Souls have recorded a cover of "1999,"

the classic from The Artist Formerly Known As Prince.

The cover will appear on a five-song EP (Nov. 10), which will also feature a new

track called "Kid," as well as three live cuts recorded in New York last July.

The Bouncing Souls' next full-length album is slated for release in the spring of

1999.
