Former Talking Heads leader David Byrne will host the PBS musical show "Sessions at West 54th" during the program's second season.

A new batch of the taped, in-concert shows premieres Oct. 2.

Last season, Byrne performed a typically quirky, world-music-flavored set on the show, which devotes a half-hour to two different artists each week.
